The Affinity Collection, a collaboration between Vera & Kyte and Massimo Copenhagen for “DS Collab”, is a series of handtufted rugs made from top-quality New Zealand wool. Featuring a vibrant colour palette and intricate designs, the collection is giving a nod to the iconic works of Josef Albers, while adding a touch of playful brightness to the interior.

The design merges organic and geometric elements, with sprinkles framed within a geometric motif on a solid colour base, creating a layered impression with varied pile heights and hand-cut shapes. The use of fine New Zealand wool ensures a durable finish, resistant to wear and tear, without compromising on the luxurious look and feel.

Care & Maintenance

Professional cleaning is recommended. Never clean with chemicals!
Daily cleaning: Use the vacuum cleaner without brush – frequently when the carpet is new as it will produce shed fluff for a period of time. Vacuum in the direction of the pile. It is a good idea to turn the rug around twice a year to avoid uneven wear and to place e.g. felt under the feet of heavy furniture standing on the rug. Note that the colors may fade if the carpet is exposed to strong sunlight for a longer period of time. Staining from the backside of the carpet may occur so it is recommended to use an underlay carpet on delicate surfaces. Please contact your local dealer for further advise.

Based in Bergen on the west coast of Norway, Vera & Kyte consists of Vera Kleppe and Åshild Kyte. Together they work within the fields of furniture, products and interior architecture. Always seeking new impressions, eager to discover the triggers for the next idea. This curious approach leads them to constantly explore new materials and aesthetics. With an analytical mindset, they aim to transform their curiosity into products that engage. The duo actively pushes the boundaries between furniture, graphics, interior accessories, and spatial design, creating innovative links among them.

Vera & Kyte established their collaborative studio in 2013. Since then their work has been showcased and acclaimed internationally, earning them a multitude of design awards and nominations.
